Doug is Principle’s Executive Chairman. He founded the company in 1989 as a London-centric cleaning services provider, passionate about people, quality and innovation, and has grown it into a £45m+ business employing over 2,200 people. Doug is also chair of industry body, the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA).
Peter Smith - Chief Executive
With a very distinguished career in the Cleaning industry, Peter joined Principle in 2009 as Managing Director. His significant experience of operating in the London cleaning market combined with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude contributes significantly towards the success and continued organic growth of the Principle brand.
Matt Kuwertz - Sales and Marketing Director
Matt has overall responsibility for the Sales & Marketing team. He joined Principle in 2016 and has over 20 years industry experience. Matt’s experience in creating great customer experiences has been instrumental in the successful growth and retention achieved by the Sales & Marketing teams he has led.
David Hoskins - Financial Director
David is responsible for the company’s finances and treasury functions. A qualified Accountant, David was a Tax Partner until 2005 and then spent 11 years as a Finance Director, joining Principle in April 2016. David is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Lilia Lamberto - HR Director
Lilia joined Principle in 2004 as part of the head office team in Telesales and then as Commercial Executive with responsibility for mobilising accounts. She worked her way up in the business to become Head of HR and Support Services followed by promotion to HR Director in 2015.
Tom Lloyd - Operations Director
Tom is one of our Operations Directors, responsible for overseeing a number of key and high-profile client accounts. A graduate with a BA (Hons) degree, he joined Principle in November 2015. Tom has worked in the industry for over 14 years and is a member of BIFM (IWFM).
Terry Murphy - Operations Director
Terry joined Principle in 2008, having held high profile positions within the industry. He ensures that our contracts deliver on a strategic level and has overall management responsibility for some of our largest clients, including CBRE and Savills.
David Saville - Operations Director, Window Cleaning
David has been with Principle since July 2013 and has responsibility for all window and high-level cleaning activities within the business. He has over 30 years’ experience and has held a NEBOSH certificate since 1993. David has been responsible for planning in safety at height his entire career.
